Feel like a California comfort camping trip?
That’s what El Capitan Canyon, an all-season comfort camping destination, promises travelers.
Comfort camping here, north of Santa Barbara, means sleeping under the stars in canvas safari tents or contemporary rustic cedar cabins.
The cabins have full bathrooms and kitchenettes, some featuring tubs and gas fireplaces. The safari tents have electric lighting, screened windows and zip-down flap doors.
Right now, the travel company offers three fall packages for weekend getaways and midweek escapes.
Here are the three fall packages:
- Canyon to Wine Country Adventure features two nights in a Creekside King Cabin. Guests are given a bottle of Santa Barbara wine; winery tasting passes; a s’mores kit and firewood.
- The Fireside Dinner package includes one night in a choice of tents or cabins, a Canyon Barbecue Kit and a s’mores kit for dessert.
- The Relax & Renew package features a two-night stay in a Creekside Cabin and two aromatherapy massages at the Creekside Canyon. Guests also receive a bottle of Happy Camper, a California wine specially produced for camping.
All three packages are offered through November 23, 2010, excluding holidays and subject to availability.
