Safari travel company Singita has launched the exclusive-use Serengeti House in Tanzania.

Opening in summer 2012, this African luxury safari experience will offer guests accommodation and access to 350,000 acres of private land in Tanzania.

On the western corridor of the Serengeti National Park, Serengeti House affords vistas from the wide Serengeti plains to a nearby watering hole.

Designer Cecile & Boyd have created the house’s interior to have an “African yet modern feel” with classic furniture made with local materials, bleached raw woods and white, ebony and ivory colors.

Singita Serengeti House will accommodate eight guests in two suites located in the main house and two garden suites. Each suite features private outdoor showers and terraces.

At the main house, guests will enjoy large dining and lounge areas, decked areas with day beds, a swimming pool and a tennis court.

The Singita signature experiences include safari with a private guide and vehicle and wining and dining on gourmet dinners prepared by a private chef.

Known for their community and wildlife initiatives, Singita has implemented green policies including water efficiency, energy consumption, materials and resources.
