• Universal Studios Hollywood’s Studio Tour:  The new tour host is American comedian/talk show host Jimmy Fallon.  On the ride’s hi-definition monitors, Fallon adds to live commentary by tour guides. See the King Kong 360 3D, the attraction thriller based on the Oscar-winning 2005 Peter Jackson film.

• Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach: The aquarium has the new Ocean Science Center which explores ocean phenomena and the ways societies depend on the world’s ocean. This immersive exhibit’s focus is NOAA Science on a Sphere (SOS), a 6-foot global display, which takes visitors around the world to discover the atmosphere, ocean and continents.

• The Pacific Park on the Santa Monica Pier:  This is Los Angeles’ only admission-free amusement park. This summer, the park launched the Inkie’s VIP Pass which offers unlimited rides and discounts year-round.  Above the Santa Monica Bay, this attraction has 12 rides,18 games and possibly the world’s first solar-powered Ferris wheel.
