Austin-Lehman Adventures (ALA) will again support U.S. National Parks preservation with its Preserve a Park Program.

In 2011, the adventure travel company has committed to donate a portion of its profits towards preservation of Yosemite National Park.

The magic of Yosemite.

On the list of World Heritage Sites, Yosemite is known for its waterfalls, granite domes and walls, valleys, groves of giant sequoia, alpine meadows, lakes and wildlife.

For scheduled small group departures of Yosemite Family Vacation, ALA will donate $100 per guest to the Yosemite Conservancy.

The six-day/five-night program will “focus on rappelling with a lot of awe mixed in from Mother Nature after hiking to a 2,425-foot waterfall, looking up at an 8,842-foot granite dome and embracing a 3,000-year-old, 300-foot Giant Sequoia.”

Scheduled 2011 departures are July 10, 17, 24, 31 and Aug. 7.

The majesty of Yosemite.

In 2010, the Yosemite Association and The Yosemite Fund merged to form the Yosemite Conservancy.

The not-for-profit organization works to preserve and protect Yosemite through habitat restoration, trail repair, education, wildlife management and scientific research.
